HighLine

Payments Fintech
HighLine Hero

Overview

HighLine had built a payroll-linked payment platform that could fundamentally change how lending risk is underwritten - by connecting repayment directly to income rather than credit scores. The technology was real and the unit economics were compelling. The problem was that their brand communicated none of that structural innovation to the lenders and credit card issuers who were their actual buyers.

In payments infrastructure, B2B buyers evaluate vendors on perceived maturity and regulatory fluency. Every month HighLine's brand stayed generic, the business development team carried the full burden of explaining a novel payment model to credit issuers whose compliance teams needed to be convinced that the technology was institutional grade.

For a company selling infrastructure to banks and credit card issuers, looking like an early-stage fintech creates procurement friction that no amount of sales effort can overcome. Compliance teams flag vendors whose public-facing presence does not match the sophistication of their technical claims.

We built a brand and digital experience that communicated HighLine's structural innovation - payroll-linked payments - with the clarity and authority required for enterprise financial services buyers.

The repositioned brand now supports lender integration conversations and communicates the regulatory readiness that financial institution partners require.
