Acorns

Overview
Acorns is one of the most recognized consumer fintech platforms in the United States - a micro-investing app that made wealth-building automatic and accessible for millions of people. Backed by BlackRock, PayPal, and NBCUniversal, with portfolio strategy designed alongside a Nobel laureate economist, the product had genuine mainstream appeal. The challenge was scaling user acquisition profitably while converting the right audiences into long-term, funded investors.
In consumer fintech, the distance between an app install and a retained, funded user is where most growth strategies fall apart. Platforms competing for attention across crowded digital channels need more than volume - they need creative precision and conversion architecture that turns attention into action and action into compounding engagement.
For a platform whose entire model depends on millions of users making small, recurring contributions over time, the quality of acquisition is not a marketing metric - it is a structural input to the business model. Acquiring users who install and churn is worse than not acquiring them at all.
We partnered with Acorns to architect and execute full-funnel digital marketing campaigns - building the creative strategy, audience targeting, and conversion frameworks that drove high-quality user acquisition at scale across paid social channels.
Acorns reached #1 Finance App in the U.S. App Store. The campaign performance set a benchmark in consumer fintech growth, with both Facebook and Twitter publishing official case studies on the results.
